38 years of drawings 1982-2020
On January 1, 1982, in addition to my work in sculpture and painting, I decided to do at least a drawing everyday, which I continue to this day. This is the first drawing. This site presents this work, completed over thirty-eight years.

JAMES BORN, Artist
James Born, MFA in Sculpture from the University of Iowa, has exhibited his work throughout the United States and Europe. He maintains a studio in Los Angeles. James Born has built bronze foundries in California and Michigan, where he was Professor of Art and taught Sculpture and Design at Central Michigan University, His sculpture is presented here. On January 1, 1982, he started drawing everyday. They are presented here. His most recent work can be seen here.
